Employee Retention Programs

At The Medical Center of Aurora/Centennial Medical Plaza, a staff-based committee for "Retention Action" coordinates existing recognition programs and creates new opportunities to thank and reward employees.

Retention Programs

Gold Star
Employees are nominated by their colleagues for quarterly recognition. A Gold Star employee of the year is selected and honored at the annual Employee Recognition Celebration. Employees receive a cash award.

Extra Touch Program
Employees receive thank you cards and balloon bouquets for giving that "extra touch" of care to a patient or fellow employee.

Perfect attendance awards
Each quarter employees who have perfect attendance are eligible for a drawing for a $500 gift certificate to Park Meadows Shopping Center.
